A: Parking is free and the parking lots of the adjacent hotels (The Holiday Inn, The CitiGarden Hotel, the Travelodge) may also be used.

A: The South San Francisco Life Science Career Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 4 PM. - Q: Is there a dress code?
A: There is no dress code but we recommend business casual attire. Some employers may wish to interview you during the Fair. - Q: Are there restaurants and/or food services available at the Conference Center?
A: There will not be any food available for purchase at the Conference Center but there are many restaurants, cafés and eateries close by.

A: This Career Fair is directed towards current and former employees of life science companies. Our minimum qualification is 1 year of experience with a life science company. Please refer to the companies listed and their job openings for further information. - Q: Will there be child care services at the Career Fair?
A: No, there are no facilities or services for child care. - Q: Will there be photocopy services at the Career Fair?
A: There are no photocopy services available. Please bring sufficient copies of your résumé for the companies that you wish to contact. - Q: Is there a charge to attend the Career Fair?
A: There is no entrance fee or any other fee associated with the Career Fair. This Career Fair is fully supported by sponsors. - Q: Who is hosting the Career Fair and why?
A: The city of South San Francisco and the California Applied Biotechnology Center – Bay Area (a publicly funded center under the Economic and Workforce Development Program) are co-hosts for this Fair. The purpose of this Career Fair is to connect highly skilled job seekers with companies. - Q: How can I find out which companies are attending?
A: The list of companies that have confirmed attendance are listed on the homepage of this website. Alternatively, when you create an account on the “Register” link, you will be able to see the jobs that are available from each company. - Q: None of my questions were answered in this FAQ.

A: When you register, you will be able to create an account, view a list of companies with their job openings. You may apply directly to the companies and their jobs. - Q: Are the companies and the jobs listed on the “Register” link, the only ones that are available?
A: No. There are over 30 companies that have confirmed attendance and many other jobs will be available at the Career Fair. We encourage you to come to the Fair. - Q: Will there be information sessions at the Career Fair?
A: There will be workshops, panel discussions, supportive services and résumé review services available at the Career Fair. - Q: Do I have to apply for the jobs online?
A: No. You may come to the job fair without applying but we encourage you to upload your résumé so that the companies can receive a digital copy of your information. - Q: I am an employer and want to have a table at the Career Fair. Who do I contact?
